Experience:
He joined N.I.A. on 6th July 2020 as Faculty Member in the cadre of Deputy Zonal Manager.
Out of his 38 years of service, he has marketing exposure of 25 years in LIC in all positions of Conventional Channel covering 3 Zones (Eastern Zone, East Central Zone & Western Zone), 10 Divisions and 8 locations (Rural/Metro) pan India.
He has been the Sr Divisional Manager (I/C) of premier Divisions Ahmedabad & Mumbai Div -1, under Western Zone. During his stint as Senior Divisional Manager (I/C) of Ahmedabad Division, the Division produced highest number of MDRT/COT/TOT agents in the country for consecutive two calendar years (2015 & 2016).
As Chief Manager at Ara Branch (Patna Div), he created history by completing 78000+ policies in FY 2008-09 which as on date is still unbeaten.
Under his tenure as Marketing Manager, Mumbai Division-4 achieved 121% of Annual Policy Budget in F.Y. 2013-14 securing No.1 Rank in the country.
Prior to current assignment, posted as National Relationship Manager at Corporate Office level for four key Banks (IDBI, AXIS, Central Bank of India & Bank of Maharashtra). During his tenure in 2019-20, the 3 attached Banks viz. IDBI, AXIS and Central Bank of India occupied top 3 positions in the country on Premium as well as Policy-basis in Bancassurance Channel. Their combined contribution in premium was 2/3rd (67%) of the total Channel performance.
His hobbies include serious reading like capital markets, Insurance related articles, etc. He is also fond of travelling and studying different cultures.
