Introduction

Library building has a sprawling space of 1600 sq. mts. with central air-conditioning and having designated areas for different sections, which stimulate a nice ambience for reading.

The Library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to Management, Insurance, Finance and Allied Subjects.
Digital collection including E-Journals, Online Databases can be accessed from Institute’s Intranet. Users can access these resources online and can find out the real-time availability of library materials from their desktops.

Visitor Log System

Online Register for library visitors is made available which collects feedback/suggestions while keeping note on daily visitors.

Besides strong collection of Books and Periodicals in Insurance and Management, library has good collection in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Training, General Awareness, and Entertainment.

NIA Library is an automated special library to serve Insurance Industry. This is one of the finest libraries in India having choicest collection in life and non life insurance. The main goal is to cater to all types of information needs of the users in respect of insurance and allied subjects. The reading room pops out with almost all national and international journals in Insurance, Actuarial Science and related areas as also journals for general awareness and entertainment. Stacking of the research publications is another value addition to the library.
